It’s hard to believe that it’s April already and
we only have 2 months of school left!
We welcomed March
by going to the Pittsburgh Symphony at Heinz Hall.
We attended the Tiny Tots Concert called “Where the
Wild Things Are.”
Everyone got dressed up and enjoyed seeing Heinz Hall
and watching the orchestra perform.
A great time was had by all!
This past month, we learned the letters T-
transportation, U – up and under, V – vacations, and W
– walls.
We are now able to count to 20, and have learned the
colors black and white, and the diamond and trapezoid
shapes.
We also celebrated Dr. Seuss’ birthday during the
first week of March.
In Bible class, we learned about Elijah, David and Goliath,
Samuel, Moses, and Peter.
We have begun learning 1 John 4: 7 & 8 for our
memory verses.
As most of you have heard, Mrs. Harbison
fell and broke her right leg at the beginning of March.
She is not permitted to drive or put any weight on it
for 4 to 6 weeks.
So, she probably will not be returning to the
classroom until after Easter.
We miss her a lot!
In her absence, Abigail Oesterling is filling in.
The children have adapted to the change quickly and
have made her feel welcome.
Please keep Mrs. Harbison in your prayers. We look
forward to her return in late April.
